Anthony Zhu
Founder & Managing Attorney
Anthony (Menglong) Zhu is the founder of Longspire Law, advising businesses, founders, executives, and international clients on corporate, fintech, employment, and cross-border legal matters.
His practice is shaped by experience on both sides of the attorney-client relationship. Anthony has served as in-house counsel to multinational businesses and practiced at a New York law firm, giving him a practical understanding of not only what the law requires, but how legal advice must work within real businesses.
Before founding Longspire Law, Anthony served as Legal Officer at a global digital asset exchange, where his work covered regulatory strategy across multiple jurisdictions, including FinCEN money services business registration, state money transmitter licensing, BSA/AML compliance, KYC/CIP requirements, and other regulatory matters affecting digital asset and financial technology businesses.
Previously, Anthony served as Senior Legal Associate at a logistics group, advising on labor matters, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, commercial matters, litigation, and legal issues arising across the Americas. Earlier in his career, he practiced with the New York office of two leading Chinese law firms, where his work included M&A transactions, commercial loans, due diligence, corporate matters, real estate and business immigration.
Anthony brings this combination of transactional, regulatory, and in-house experience to his work at Longspire Law. His approach emphasizes careful legal analysis, commercial judgment, and advice tailored to the particular objectives of each client—rather than one-size-fits-all solutions.
